Film Poster In Real Life Situations

In order to give an idea of what my film poster would look like advertised in real life I photoshopped it onto a bus stop poster using the skew and distort tools. This gives an idea of what a member of the public would see when advertising my short film

Film Poster

After doing research into lots of other short film posters I decided to follow a working trend that was less is more. I found that the more simplistic posters were more powerful and attention grabbing. For this reason I have created a strong central image and only included the key details and conventions of a movie poster. For example I have deliberately chose to not include a date as instead of being a big budget Hollywood film it is one that would be viewed at film festivals.

Diary 7/01/12

Today I finished my magazine article. Originally it was going to have two double pages and a single. However I decided I wasnt happy with my original second double page as it looked unprofessional and didnt  fit the colour scheme well enough. This lead me to combine my single and double page into one double which looks much more affective and follows the articles colour scheme design and layout
